A career criminal defense attorney, Andy has always been passionate about the injustice of citizens being arrested and prosecuted for marijuana crime. He has a scholarly understanding and love of our Fourth Amendment privacy rights. He has been an activist for education and access to cannabis for many years now and transitioning to cannabis law is a natural fit. Andy has a bachelor's degree from the University of California, a master's degree from the University of Washington, and a law degree from Mercer University. Having spent much of his adult life as a professional musician, he also has a PhD from the School of Hard Knocks. Jill is a former prosecutor turned cannabis attorney and has been practicing since 2001 when she first became licensed in Georgia. Serving as a public defender, then as an Atlanta felony prosecutor, Jill then joined Andy in private criminal defense practice in 2012. She served as a Visiting Professional in the Office of the Prosecutor at the International Criminal Court in The Hague, Netherlands.  She co-founded a criminal justice non-profit, The Georgia Innocence Project, which over the past twenty years has worked to exonerate the wrongfully convicted.
